Design for manufacture
If we are working from existing client CAD data for purely tooling inquiries, or we are developing plastic part designs from a clients brief, we always have the final application requirements in mind.
Working closely with the customer we will work through the DFM process to optimize the part for the manufacturing stages.
A key stage in the design process is prototyping. With the aim of developing a design and ensuring that the part meets the clients requirements, we can assist you in sourcing prototype parts or tooling.
This may be by 3D printing, vacuum casting or manufacturing of ‘low volume’ injection mould tools for validation pourposes.
